BioWatt is extremely proud to announce the appointment of Jon Myhill as our newest member of the team providing management of all of our feedstock and digestate management services.

BioWatt currently handles about 120,000 tonnes of feedstock into biogas plants in the UK, with a further 75,000 tonnes of capacity in construction and another 200,000 tonnes of capacity due to start construction in 2024; it was about time we appointed an experienced and regarded manager to run this element of our business.

Jon is a FACTS and BASIS qualified agronomist and brings a wealth of agricultural, feedstock and commercial knowledge to the BioWatt team. He will continue is his roles as technical lead and agronomist for the Maize Growers Association and also as a LEAF Open Farm Sunday ambassador, managing the Eastern Counties.

” We’re really looking forward to working with Jon and significantly adding to our capabilities and credibility in the feedstock and digestate arenas. While fantastically well qualified and regarded, it’s Jon’s work ethic and flexible approach to the broad range of activities involved in operating biogas plants that sets him apart – giving keynote conference papers one day – and helping cover a clamp before the weather turns the next.”
