Biomethane to Grid (900m3/hr) Biogas Project (75,000 tpa)

[ezcol_1third]BioWatt developed, secured funding for, managed the construction of and is now operating and managing this 75,000 TPA pre-consumer food waste biomethane to grid project.  Construction of the plant began in 2016 and despite significant issues with the biogas upgrader/ grid entry supplier, the plant was completed in August 2017.[/ezcol_1third] [ezcol_2third_end][/ezcol_2third_end]The plant is able to produce and upgrade more than 1,500m3/hr of biogas from pre-treated packaged pre-consumer ABP food waste, the power for which comes from its own 650KW CHP biogas engine.
