BioWatt are operators of anaerobic digestion/biogas plants which produce green electricity and gas using organic materials such as crops, manures and food wastes.

We are looking for a Site Operator based at our site just outside Wincanton (Somerset), working in a team operating this newly built, latest technology renewable gas production facility. This is an enjoyable and varied role as part of a hard working operations team, with excellent opportunities for personal development and career growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily operation, cleaning and checks of equipment
• Daily site equipment checks using our dedicated operations management system
• Light maintenance of equipment and systems
• Site housekeeping – maintaining a safe working environment
• Stock control of spare parts
• SCADA monitoring and control
• Record performance values, analyse trends
• Feeding the plant with the telehandler/ front-end-loader
• Materials sampling
• Operation of site weighbridge & record keeping
